Gut feeling. The kid wants to announce January 10, cancels visit with Dayton and announces he's coming here the 2 days before his announcement? If he really wanted to go to OSU, he would've cancelled with Dayton and announced his decision. My guess is he probably received a bundle of Henry Ellenson footage with a "this could be you" post-it attached, his eyes got big, and one conversation with Stan sealed it.

I could be totally off base, but the timing, the on-paper fit, and the way mid-season transfers seem to go, I feel pretty confident calling him a Warrior.

Totally agree on all accounts. Was just curious if you had heard something.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

Maybe I'm not following but why would he be a high risk?

I'm an idiot and said it in reverse.  I meant high reward, low risk.

While I agree with your sentiment, going back to Australia to play profession is a legitimate option.  His older brother was a professional there, so is his older sister (who transferred away from SMU to go pro).  I think it is reasonable to say at this point it is likely:

60% MU
30% professional back home
10% OSU

Big Daddy posted after the Georgia game.  Someone put up BD Bat signal.

Well, lets hope he does not freeze to death this weekend!  NO school this week so that is good, and he can tell his parents he is going to Hawaii next year!  Can
a transfer go even if he is not on the team yet?

MomofMUltiples

I thought last year Rowsey paid his own way to NY for the LSU game.
I mean, OK, maybe he's secretly a serial killer who's pulled the wool over our eyes with his good deeds and smooth jumper - Pakuni (on Markus Howard)

I hope so. I'm sitting at about 50% MU 50% Professional. We'll see how it plays out.

Being a transfer may change it.

He did, and then got in Ben Simmons face. Probably the best moment by a player sitting out I've ever seen.

Is going professional a viable option considering he is out of shape? From what I read here he needs the transfer time off to work on his body.

It is going pro in Australia, given family connections it may be possible.

He wasn't dominating at SMU, but he was contributing decent minutes. My guess is the Australian professional league is a step down from D1 quality. I would guess he could probably go there and establish a role immediately.

I wonder what would be better from a development standpoint. We all know what Todd can do, wonder what the trainers and strength coaches are like in the Australian league.

He doesn't even mention turning pro in the article.  Nothing indicates that he will do anything but transfer.

Here is a direct quote from Harry.

"I have loved my teammates and my coaches here at SMU, but I was hoping to play a much more significant role than the one I have here now. It was a big sacrifice for me to leave Australia and come to the United States, so this has been very difficult for me. I am going to look at all of my options collegiately and professionally back home."

For 2018 MU needs to focus on Courtney Ramey, Torrence Watson, Race Thompson and Joey

Froling has started to be followed by a ton of Marquette accounts, and Wojo started following him.

I think he is ours...
