I'm wondering how far apart those 2 games are.  It almost looks like 2 different years.  In the first game the legs are so messed up on his jumper, but in the 2nd it looks a lot better (though not completely "normal").  He also looks slightly bigger physically?  But still very thin.

Thin for a guard is no big deal.  He looks pretty quick and athletic, but on a high lite real they all look great.  The best real was Juan Anderson, I thought they were really
getting a stud, but as it turned out, he was just OK, at best.  Since this is his first major offer, there must be some angst to his game.  I expect Duane to start next year
anyway or Cheatham,  he can learn as a freshman.  More importantly he can learn to play D, as he is at least long and tall.  Teammates of Ike and Jamil is nice, and gets
MU into Michigan.

He has grown 3 inches in the last year.    A 6' guard doing what he does gets politely noticed, ends up at a low-mid major, and 4 years later becomes a temporary hero by lighting up a big boy in a 3-14 game the first weekend of the tournament.    At 6'3, he has a lot more coach's attention.

To be honest, I'm not sure there is anyone in Wisconsin more connected than Mark and he does a fantastic job at what he does in putting in work with his Wisconsin Basketball Yearbook, writing for Wissport.net, organizing camps and tourneys in the offseason and organizing the Shootout at Concordia over the Christmas holiday.  He has a lot of respect in Wisconsin and in neighboring states from other media people and college and high school coaches.

Even the best players dont score that many points that often but I wouldnt say its super rare. Ive seen a ridiculous amount of high school games and I think ive seen around that many points scored by one person live about 5 times. Twice by Jon Scheyer, twice by Abdel Nader and once by Lorenzo Dillard. He was one of the most talented players ive seen at the high school level but an absolute nutcase.

Ryan Boatright would also put up crazy numbers, but never say him play in person.

I'm guessing Anthony Pieper might have had a few high scoring games in high school since he still holds the career scoring record for Wisconsin boys basketball.  667 points more than the number 2 all time scorer.
