Anybody know who the recruit is on campus today? White kid, brown hair, about 6'4

Riley Battin is supposed to be visiting this week. He's taller than 6'4 according to the recruitin' sites. He fits the white kid brown hair description though, so I presume it is him.

Yes, you're right it was Riley Battin. 6'9 220 from the LA area. 138 composite rating via 24/7 in the class of 2018. I didn't see him myself today on campus. I had bad Intel. I'll make sure to let my sources know they're no longer reliable.....Also he was being taken around by Stan fwiw

Southern California's sophomore of the year. Seems to have a pretty good handle, spin move and shot (out to three-point range). Runs the court well. From this video, likes to drive from the free throw line/top of the key or the wing more than post up. Strongly prefers the right hand, but saw a couple lefty hooks/lay-ins.

Honestly I'm surprised he's not ranked higher. 16 year old showing that type of skillset with his size? I know his athleticism doesn't like great but that skillset at his age is really good.

I'd agree. I'm no scout, and the video doesn't really tell anything about his attitude, work ethic, rebounding or defense. He could obviously use more muscle. But he seems like a very promising young big to have on the radar.

2018 F Jarvis Thomas from Orono HS (MN)/D1Mn had Marquette in to see him this morning & will visit campus unofficially this weekend

Thomas is starting to make more waves, in a good way.  We (UW) are taking a look at him also.  Has offers from Iowa State, Arizona State, Oregon State.   Jarvis is in Madison this weekend along with a number of other players for the Ohio State - UW game. .  MU is recruiting Nobal Days, Thomas and I believe 1 or 2 others that both schools are looking at.

Funny thing is you say you don't see many D1 basketball playing brothers on different teams and then bring up Markus Howard, someone who is doing just that.
