If by "travel in strange pairs" you mean "are the exact same person", then I agree with this analysis.  ;D

Lots of time for Wisconsin's coach to be found out as a cheater who spends as much time having some side fun as he does recruiting. It's a prereq to get a job in UW's athletic department. Maybe the Herro's will still be a fan of Guard then, maybe they won't.

Have not heard that one, but please expand on the accusation.

Interview with Nobal Days and his father...

"We know that this basketball thing is short-lived," Al said. "He's going to have to get a job eventually and academics are the key. I think a lot of coaches are coming to see Nobal because they get last year's transcripts."

If his father wants him to graduate, he shouldnt go to UW ;)

We should be doing better.  Will give you that.  Some of it is guys leaving early or playing in Europe after eligibility was used, but we should be doing better.

If guys can make money now playing basketball, they need to take that opportunity. That goes for UW, MU, or anywhere else.

Lol.  Where have you been living?!  You haven't heard the names Barry Alverez, Bo Ryan, or Bret Bielema?  I thought you were a Badger fan?

My reading of the message was an implication of Greg Gard, not anyone else.

I think our coaching staff has done a very good job and have put our best foot forward on the Tillman recruit. In this social media age, the family has communicated their full scope of requirements publicly and we are doing our best to address them. I hope we sign Xavier.

Come on, man. It's perfectly fine for you to be a total ass clown here but don't turn it into a traveling road show.

My inference concluded it was only a matter of time before he is found to be a cheater, because apparently he "spends as much time having fun on the side as he does recruiting".

Was that incorrect?  Maybe the comprehension is fine, but the statement by Wadesworld lacked clarity.  He also mentioned some named Guard, when it is Gard who is the coach.  Indeed, comprehension issue or statement issue?   ;)

In my view, MU is ready to return to the NCAA tournament this year if your guard play can improve.  My opinion is Ellenson's departure is addition by subtraction.  A great player, but when a team relies on one player it can stagnate others.

A number of us cheer for MU when not playing Wisconsin.  The GSR, or graduation reports of the last cohorts used, are identical at 67% for Wisconsin and Marquette.  http://web1.ncaa.org/GSRSearch/exec/homePage

Neither, it's a trolling issue. I have no idea why fans of another fanbase are so obsessed with trolling their rivals in the off-season. During Badger Hate Week, sure. Even then it's silly, but at least there's a game to discuss. Otherwise, why? Is the discussion just that crappy on your own websites?

I know there are probably Marquette fans that do the same. Their actions are just as inane as yours. But that doesn't make your contributions here valuable or wanted. And if you're going to be one of those jackasses that trolls another team, then you should expect to get some abuse for your idiotic behavior.

So congrats on getting Herro, now why don't you bugger off back to the Badger boards? I'm sure everyone will be happy to discuss basketball with you there, if not now, then in January when the throwball season ends.

Wisconsin - Milwaukee is 38.  Maybe that's why Jeter is gone.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

I'm sure there is some nuance to viewing GSR that i'm missing but if you don't just look at last year the five year averages for the two schools are 78.6 and 48.2.  The MU number needs to be higher** but it looks like you are cherry picking %'s.

**i'm not in the education arena so i don't know if there is a better measure that MU uses.  i'm taking it on faith that GSR a standard measure

I'm fairly certain you are correct.

Am I imagining this having happened or wasn't Becky graduating 0.00% of their African American basketball players for a 6 year period within the last year or 2?
