My inference concluded it was only a matter of time before he is found to be a cheater, because apparently he "spends as much time having fun on the side as he does recruiting".

Was that incorrect?  Maybe the comprehension is fine, but the statement by Wadesworld lacked clarity.  He also mentioned some named Guard, when it is Gard who is the coach.  Indeed, comprehension issue or statement issue?   


In my view, MU is ready to return to the NCAA tournament this year if your guard play can improve.  My opinion is Ellenson's departure is addition by subtraction.  A great player, but when a team relies on one player it can stagnate others.
