I'd really be surprised if we oversigned.  Tillman comes this weekend while French visits SLU.  This will work out soon enough.  Wojo will know where this is headed by Sunday night I'll bet.  I'd be more than happy with either young man.

IF someone makes a decision to leave after the season, Wojo will deal with it then.  Personally, I'd look for a traditional 'sit out' transfer with at least 2 years eligibility.

Not saying that it will happen, I am just saying that it could.  Look around college basketball.  Losing one player a year is not unlikely, actually is more likely.  Someone can run the stats on that I am sure.

Look at this years roster and tell me how wojo is going to keep everyone happy with minutes.

To the first part, just because the odds say it happens doesn't mean you should force it. Say the staff is confident someone will transfer. A dozen things could change.

To the second, all the more reason to not oversign. If you are already struggling to see how guys will be happy with minutes, why would you want to compound that problem?

Brew,  the "Log jam" for lack of a better word is in the wing position.  Signing a extra post player or not wont change this.

However, I think the likely hood of signing both is only 15%.

50% X only
30% French only
15% both.
Neither 5%

I think x is 50/50  not signing when at MSU was a big deal.

Neither 5%

So there is a 20% chance that Scoop loses its crap over the next two weeks.  Seems about average for the offseason.

I stand by my previous gifs. This is very good news and hopefully Stan and Wojo do work this weekend.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

I'd raise that to a 50% chance.  There are many more unrelated events that can trigger Scoop crapping than the two scenarios listed.

PF Hasahn French will not be visiting Minnesota this weekend. He had been scheduled for an official visit this weekend.

As it should be. When the upperclassmen are having to battle with the talented youngins for time. That's when you know you're going to be building for something great.

I don't think an oversigning happens, and if it does it's only because French and Mr. X both want to be here.....not because someone at MU wants to leave. If we oversign, we let the season work that out. Keep in mind I'm not advocating for it, but if life gives you a lot of KBS Stout, you find a way to drink it or sell it.

What will be very interesting is if we get either one to complete the roster both Sandy and Sacar really benefit in 2018 from that as they will be able to play more natural positions for themselves.

100% chance of Scoop losing its crap. Regardless of anything.

So Tillman visiting us this weekend and ESPN does not even have us as a listed school. Devoted considerable ink to MSU visit.
