Always like your optimistic take.

MU82, maybe you missed the point.  If I was Nwora, I do not want to be second fiddle.  They did not want Nwora initially, they wanted O'Connell.  Now there back
on him, hopefully the kid realizes that it.  The other 3 schools have been on him from the beginning, there getting to the dance a little late.

I missed the point as well, thanks for clarifying.

Still guessing we end up with Cain, French and Tillman. John to Minnesota. No idea on Nwora.

I would be ecstatic with that class.

I think MU has a good chance on John, talked to a player, Sacre and him are very tight.

"Sacre:
Quebec French profanities, known as sacres, are words and expressions related to Catholicism and its liturgy which are used as strong profanities in Quebec French or joual, the main language variety of Canadian French, and to a lesser degree in Acadian French spoken in Maritime Provinces east of Quebec. Sacres are considered stronger than the foul expressions common to standard French which centre on sex and excrement."

Minnesota is basically Canada but this is taking it too far....John better learn to respect the Jesuits before he gets to campus!

That bodes well for Gonzaga, I suppose.

Pitino desperate too.  Why play there?

DUNKS45

I hope Sacar has some pull with John, Pitino on the hot seat?

He's under-performed for two years, and his recruiting classes don't look that strong.  Not a great recipe for success.  I think he has one good recruit from Minnesota, and that's it.  Can't remember his name...JayBee can chime in.

If I had to pick one team to well outperform the CONSENSUS in 2016-17, it might be Minnesota.

Lots of talent & experience.

Most have them at #13 & #12 in the B1G, but the truth shall be revealed. Ski-U-Mah.

Seriously, they have a very good chance to blow past expectations.

What are your thoughts on Pitino as a coach?

How much better would Minnesota have been last year if Sacar's teammate didn't have that heart issue that disqualified him?

His mother seems to really like Marquette. She tweeted out about getting the Marquette programming in the mail as well (this was something someone retweeted in my timeline). Way to keep on making a good impression!

We have 12 feet, with another 20 expected over the weekend. We are a Zika free zone

Regarding X's mother...  There was a contentious custody battle between his parents.  His dad won, leading to a transfer from Forest Hills to Grand Rapids Christian.  Im glad his mom is a fan, but I don't give it a lot of weight.

Only 10 feet down here in Rochester....but it hit 20 below last night 'cause we don't have that "urban heat island" thing going on....

He's not there yet. I think he can evolve into a solid coach with some player stability & experience. Certainly wouldn't write him off as some have.

Not much. He would've been a true freshman at a crowded position(s) of other youngins. BTW, he still plays ball... wish the U would have allowed him to play.
