I love how nearly the same roster that was just humiliated is suddenly a heck of a returning roster.  😂   People of this board continually over value the players we've had.

How were they humiliated?

KenPom had them in the 300's in experience.  There is nothing humiliating about ending your season under the bright lights regardless of what some spoiled scoopers say.

This team was, is, and will be good.

If ... IF ... Lewis comes back, they have a 1st team all BE player.  And he's surrounded by guys that have not cut it in BE play, or freshmen!

They are both true Freshman in Big East terms.

1st season of action in the Big East in addition to their 1st college season with real crowds and real games.

We are acting as if Freshman should have played as 6th year Seniors.

Kolek leads the Big East in Assists and Oso shot 68% showing the ability to be as versatile as any forward we've seen here.

Perfectly sums up why a good portion of MU fans will be making excuses on a yearly basis for the teams poor performance.  They think we can't ask for much more than the roster of a team that was only a 9 seed and was humiliated in the tourney.

In Big East terms he played like 30 total minutes last year. Got no action until this year and has 3 full years left.

I know he isn't a technical true Freshman, but he might as well be.

Also, dont hang your hat on a solid incoming class, because more and better talent is needed.

You don't just get to win. They gotta go through the process to earn it.

Very very pleased with how Stevie finished the year.  I'm confident in our PG spot.

Among the returnees, we have one guy who can run an offense but not defend, and seems a bit fragile. And another guy who can defend and brings loads of positive energy, but struggled to run the offense.
Neither can shoot.
No reason to give up on either at this point, but "confident" definitely isn't the word I would use. Unsettled is more like it.

Then why question if it was humiliating? Almost any 16, 15 or 14 seed would call it a humiliating loss.

It was not a humiliating season. It was a good season but the last game was 100% humiliating.
