Perhaps I have PTSD, but I feel like MU's track record with these "televised" announcements is poor at best.  We're due!

Wasn't symir technically the most recent? Although it was a pretty lame one on television.

I am now awaiting a detailed Paint Touches article about our overall success in recruiting based on the form that the recruit chooses to make their announcement.  Breakdowns by region, position, and future MU/other school success should go without saying.

Thanks. I have to say that Wojo runs a tight ship.  Leaks usually come from other schools.  I remember the days of Crean where there were constant reports and updates through people close to the program.

Doc hand delivered Looney to UCLA. That was a slam dunk.

So he was carrying the luggage?

Buzz was the same way...you could get info. But you're right, Wojo does run a very tight ship.

I want this quote to serve as a reminder to the vast majority of scoop posters in regards to the MU BB program.

Nah.  He just has to put his hands in Steve Alford's mouth two times a year.

Buzz you could get info because his players were very willing to talk about everything.

At least that's how I usually got my info. Driving LIMOs certainly had its perks.

Tillman... his parents are divorced.    One favored MU, one favored MSU.    It was close until... his girlfriend in Grand Rapids got pregnant.    Lansing is much closer than Milwaukee.    I have never heard it from a Tillman, but I have gotten nods and winks from locals who were close to the situation.

Yup, tea leaves are saying Garcia to Merrimack, done deal.

My bad, I had the tea leaves upside down; there will instead be a bountiful harvest thanks to the volcano god.

Yes, and the detail should include who the recruit consulted with and what day of the week the decision was made.

The ferry is not open 12 months a year.    Even taking it, it is still nearly 4 hours from leaving your house in GR to arriving in Milwaukee.    Lansing is a boring as hell 1 hour drive.

Too bad Marquette never hopped on the Tyler Beard bandwagon.

If they were looking for a point guard and wanted to fill schollies, I think he's going to end up being very, very, good.

Corey Evans has now officially said Marquette. Barring anything weird, getting excited to tune in.
