That man has completely gone off the rails. He has his 7 year old daughter on there. WTF? My wife would divorce me in 2 seconds if I put my daughter on a web site to beg for Lebron James to come to MU back in the day. And she would have been right. He's gone beyond creepy.

That guy blocked me because after attempting to insult me, he couldn't handle the facts of Purdue dominance over IU in both football and basketball.  Now I'm going to miss out on all his creepy tweets to children....

Gonzaga doesn't have D1 football, nor does Nova, GTown, Xavier, Butler, and so many others. 

I know what you were getting at...but Nova, GTown and Butler do have DI football...FCS.  At least until the NCAA drops the pretense that FCS is actually DI.

In scrolling through his tweets, I only saw ONE IU fan comment "hey man, this is getting to be way over the top".  One.  He/they are encouraged at every turn to keep tweeting at a high school senior begging him to commit.
If a Marquette fan was doing the same thing I would have to dissociate from the fanbase out of second hand shame.

It's creepy, but the vast majority of recruits want to be shown the love on social media. I have no reason to believe Garcia is any different. It's wishful thinking to say he'll be turned off by it.

That said I'm glad MU fans don't do this kind of stuff.

Absolutely, and I'm all for showing love when someone announces they've received an offer, are on an official, cut their list and your school has made it, etc.
But when you're tagging a kid in tweets every day for weeks saying he's all you think about, shamelessly record your poor daughter begging him to commit like a hostage video, there's no rational person who thinks that helps IU's cause.  Then again, fanaticsim = irrationality.

Was doing some channel surfing and came across the SMU rated 15 versus Memphis Rated 24 football game on ABC. Packed house at Memphis and very loud environment .  This kind of exposure has to be helpful for Memphis in their basketball recruiting .

You are correct, he used my quote...for two decades these schools were considered D3 and then they reclassified them.  I have always considered them to still be D3 because they are non scholarship just as D3 is, but you are correct...old habits die hard on that one for me.

Cheeks- At least in the case of Villanova, I don't think this right.  They have football scholarships (designated as such--not simply scholarships for merit and need that the football program helps them get).

Yes, Nova is scholarship FCS in the Colonial Athletic Association.  Butler is FCS in the non-scholarship Pioneer League.  Georgetown is FCS in the scholarship granting Patriot League, but Georgetown doesn't award football scholarships.  (Which is why they usually aren't very good.)

For what it is worth if anything,
Am friends with the Company VJS, and they have been to many MU games for many many years, but they have much heavier and much thicker ties to Iowa State and UW.

Is anyone supposed to have any clue as to what it is that u are referring to??
