Thanks for posting.   I counted 9 new names, including some I've never even heard of.  It's also interesting to see which names have carried over to this list, versus some of the passing interest that went nowhere.

Guys like Agbo, Dinwiddie, and Loveday are some of the players that I've seen MU mentioned with but wasn't sure if MU was still in the picture or not.  So it's interesting to see them listed.

I also noted which names weren't listed.  Guys like Matt Cross, PJ Hall, and Elijah Hutchins-Everrett come to mind.  Gabe Madsen is another noteable omission.  But like the article says, recruiting is fluid.

Not meaningless, but the ratings once you get past a certain number at the individual level are meaningless.  Try to stay in the game Lenny.

So when one guy posts that a recruit is a 3* sf ranked 190th by 247 that is meaningless.

When another guy posts that a recruit (that same recruit) is rated 188th in the 247 composite that's meaningful.

Bizarre.

I wondered that same thing when I read it, but I THINK he was talking specifically about unofficial visits.

I've heard that Gabe really likes Marquette, but is hoping to keep playing with his brother, Mason. Mason's ceiling appears to be a place like UNI or UWGB, so I guess we'll see how strong that "play with bro" thing is.

Marquette should just recruit both brothers.

Mason has 12 offers right now. All mid  and low major.  Here is the  WPC roster with list of offers.

Thanks for the info.  I agree that Mason belongs in the MVC or similar level.  He can be a very good mid-major player but I don't think he's BE caliber.

Gabe would be a nice player at Marquette.  I'd compare his playing style to Kellen Dunham, but probably a less productive version. His elite shooting is a skill Wojo values highly.

I'll be interested to see what Gabe decides.  It's easy to stick together when both brothers are at the same level.  A little trickier when one brother has the opportunity to play at a higher level.

Glad we are getting the first official. We can make our basketball oriented case and then keep pounding the table while he goes through all the fancy football game official visit trips.

247 article on Bridges

When it comes to Marquette, Bridges said, "I had an official to Marquette, but I think I have to reschedule that."

He continued about the Golden Eagles, "They play up-tempo and get up and down. Also, they play defense, and they have had a lot of guys play professional basketball from that school, so I am interested in them."

Brett Nelson left.  Bridges father and Brett played high school basketball in the same time frame in West Virginia.  May or may not be a reason for a change.

All the other P5 schools are pushing him to cancel so they can get him on their campuses for big football weekend. Not good news.

It was nice while it lasted .

All depends on what's important to him. My guess is that every single student who ever went to MU could have gone to a school with big football weekends, but chose not to....

I think Brett Nelson leaving is a bigger factor.  Losing the West Virginia connection hurts.  Hopefully the coaching staff can still get Bridges on campus for a visit.

Everything about this kid says big time  P5 football college environment is what interests him.

If this was us versus just one of these schools it might be a different story. There are just too many involved now and the list keeps growing.

I saw "Gonzaga Hoops" and was confused until I saw Washington DC.  Gonzaga is a Jesuit HS in DC.

Is there any evidence to show that Jesuit/Catholic schools do better at recruiting Jesuit/Catholic high school students?  I'm not talking about the athlete's faith, just the type of school they went to.
