Exactly how do you consider Wisconsin and Minnesota as close to home for a Milwaukee kid but not Depaul? Georgetown's selling point with location is likely saying you've got two games that are close to home for your family and friends to see you every year in MU and Depaul. idk about Mizzou KState and LSU

Because DePaul is DePaul.

And he's really a Madison area kid.  I don't even think his parents moved to Milwaukee full time.

ChitownSpaceForRent

DePaul just picked up a commitment from Marquese Jacobs so they're trying.

Madison to Depaul is still closer than Minneapolis.
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

Again...DePaul is DePaul.

Which is a much better angle than close to home. this is pretty much the same conversation as I had with Marcus92 like an hour ago if you switch Madison with Milwaukee.

How good is Nicolet going to be this year? Jalen was in the running for the USA Basketball U17 team. They also have 6-9 junior forward Jamari Sibley (another MU target), correct? Would be amazing if we could somehow land both of them.

Nicolet will win state this year, could be nationally ranked

They will be the favorite in D-2 but Milwaukee Washington with Michael Foster and La Crosse Central, with 3 college prospects, won't go quietly.

Are both of Jalen Johnson's parents originally from Milwaukee?  His dad played at Milwaukee Marshall.

Nicolet also has James Graham III who has offers from Rutgers and Depaul, plays with phenom AAU in milwaukee

Didn't Wojo hint in some article that MU is trying to get several players from Phenom U to come here together?
I mean, OK, maybe he's secretly a serial killer who's pulled the wool over our eyes with his good deeds and smooth jumper - Pakuni (on Markus Howard)

I don't think any coach in America needs to drop hints about that.  I think most NBA scouts would say they'd eventually like to have Jalen Johnson and Patrick Baldwin on their rosters someday...

A Gritty retort.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Missed this last week. Nobal Days cut his list to Tulane, Cornell, and Wisconsin. We stopped pursuing him a while ago. I had heard that Wisconsin had stopped as well....but picked up again after the missed out on all their other 2019 targets (save Wahl). Best of luck to him wherever he ends up.

Nobal has a solid final group here where he will enjoy being a student athlete. Will be rooting for his success.

If we got that early commit it would be very helpful in terms of landing another kid from his club team.
