Someone help me out. What is Wojo batting with recruits who actually get on campus for an official visit? The only recruit I can think of who took an official and ended up elsewhere was Xavier Tillman. Was there anybody else?

Hasahn French Freedom

Although that may have been Wojo cooling.

What if Markus averages 20, goes 50% or better from the arc again, leads us to the dance ... and, most importantly, has his peeps Jay Bee whispering in his ear that he is good enough for the NBA?
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

Ah right, I forgot about Mr. Freedom. I don't know if I'd call it cooling, but I think our focus was on Xavier Tillman and that cost us French.

Dodds did an interview with Stan about Brendan Bailey. It was originally posted in December but he reposted it recently. I don't remember seeing it on here, apologies if it has already been posted.

Most interesting tidbit is that contrary to what many believed, Bailey has been allowed to continue to workout on his mission and has put on 15 lbs of good weight. Might still need some time to get into the flow after his mission but I know people were worried that he would be out of shape.

Khalif Young made it to campus I think. I feel Wojo does better with guards once getting them to campus. Maybe because it seems like we've had a lot of big guys we were casting a wide net on in the spring. That's purely off the top of my head so I may be wrong.

I know no more than you do, but it SEEMS that his head is screwed on firmly based on his high school academic success (did you know he's only 18?).

Now, if scouts tell him that him getting drafted in round 1 is a lock  (highly unlikely), logic should tell him to chase that. Short of that, he will probably realize that demolishing every 3pt record while maximizing whatever defense he can muster is the best course of action.

Yeah, still lots of improvement to be realized in defense, quickness, etc. more college can help there. #PlzStay4Years #M2N #JustNotEarlyOK

Right now he is 5'11'' 2 guard that needs to improve his handle and become a true point.   He has a lot of growing to do on the BB court.  I see him as a
4 year player at MU, he might be 20 or 21 when graduates, he will have some type of pro career, not sure where yet.

It is part of the new "Open Door" policy.  Trying to be more encompassing to the community as a w"hole".  Breaking glass doors and ceilings. Unlocking opportunities for others.  Being more open and transparent, removing barriers and what separates us from others.

Either that or it was Tyler H trying to get into MU.

I assumed that guys on these missions did workout fairly regularly. There have been some very good freshmen at BYU. Hard to believe they had taken two years away from basketball completely.

I'm guessing Coffee is for Closers and Always Be Closing.

At least seems like we have a good chance. I can't tell if the Herro part is hinting he's looking to get out of his IW commitment or just a good joke.

Agree on all of this.

But again, just because a kid should stay doesn't mean he will stay. As others have said, he seems to be smart and grounded, so here's hoping!
