As predicted, the Duke of the Midwest beat out the other Bluebloods. Love acing out Calcheatucky.

Congrats to Wojo--makes El Buzzard recruiting look like a big stink.

Great get, but he was not high on coach Cal's "must have" list.

I only disagree about listing Levin.  The others fixed, I think.

I think you have to list Levin.  He is taking a scholarship.  Otherwise you only have 11 scholarship players, which isn't accurate.

If you really want to be anal, you should show Luke Fischer as a walk-on last year (he paid his way second semester), and show Jameel McKay since he took the scholarship.

How do you know? Because of stuff you read on UK boards or recruiting sites?

We can't really know how much Cal actually wanted Ellenson. He certainly recruited him hard, showed up at his events, offered him a scholly, set up a visit. Seemed to want him plenty.

Even Cal doesn't get EVERY recruit he really wants.

At least take out the "1" under scholarships available this year.  I believe the rule is that since Levin didn't leave before the first day of class, he's a counter for the year.

I think he counts for this year because he used the scholarship this summer.  I think he is still on campus finishing out this semester.

Just like McKay's we cannot use Levin's scholarship this year. However, we can use Mayo's, so the one spot we have left for next year could be used this year for a transfer.

Summer has no effect.  It's because he was enrolled as a full-time student for the 1st semester.  Summer enrollment is just part time.

So Marquette could have used TJ Taylor's scholarship?  Even though he had to redshirt?

TJ had other issues leading to that, but his scholies was still available. A better example is Brett Roseboro.  He lost no eligibility.

Ah OK.  Thanks.
