HOLY CRAP!!! This makes up for Joe Wolf!

Welcome to Marquette, Henry!

Finally I can put that nightmare behind me!

my boss, a big Badger fan, already wants to bet me that Henry will be "average at best" LOL

I know Vadger fans are trying like hell to piss all over this good news. Poor slobs. They'll have to try A LOT harder to wipe the ;D off my face.

Dr. Blackheart

Great get especially for a first year coach.  Program changer. Wojo basically camped out with the Ellensons.  MU will be beating Greg Gard and the Badgers for years to come.

I HATE to even mention this, but for discussion's sake, does Henry and/or Wally come to Marquette if Buzz is head coach?
Nope!!!

Man that has to be tough to have a boss who is a big badger fan. Only thing worse would be if he/she would be a big No Dick fan.

We were the overwhelming leader for Henry all along and then people started messing with the mojo by changing their names.

I'm happy to report that I resisted peer pressure, stuck with plain ol' MU82, and now, despite all those fate-tempting name changes, Henry is a Warrior.

You may all start lining up to kiss my ring!  ;D

This is great news!  Welcome Henry to the Marquette family.  We hope your experience here at MU exceeds your expectations... ;)

Interesting that six months after all the uncertainty and concern by everyone after Buzz left and all the Shaka drama that we have ended up with a new young coach in Wojo that has certainly exceeded all of our expectations so far.  No one could have expected Marquette to have the #3 recruiting class in the country 6 months later.  I am very impressed.

I'm not sure and this may have been posted before, but is Henry the highest rated recruit for MU since Doc Rivers back in 1980?

If we end up with another 4 star recruit to fill Levin's spot, the '15-16 team (and '16-'17 if Henry stays) will be something really special to watch (especially since STJ will be the only senior in '15-'16).

Very exciting time for all Warrior fans!

Hey dgies9156--- Them were great years. Lived and died MU Basketball. Being up north MU was not very
popular. Although the game against Kentucky in Madison and the loss Purdue to Lucky Rick Mount got
MU lots of attention. Fell in love with MU basketball when I saw them play in 1966. Met Al twice and attended
a senior party. I had my WOJO WARRIOR T-SHIRT on all afternoon and will wear it in front of my Badger
coffee drinkers tomorrow.

I think a switchable wing is the last piece.

Think about this.

We're short switchable wings because we have so many big men!

DD is not the only one, but he is someone that they are on right now, before he commits to Purdue.  HE's commitment today was not just by chance. His commitment means a lot to other players and will be a factor who joins the "Family".
Dominoes are falling.

PS  I am not Father Wild (that made me chuckle) or related to a player. Who I am is a Warrior that loves:

1) My Lord
2) These United States of America
3) My Family
4) Marquette
5) Real Chili

In that order....

You got something out of order.   ;)

Henry's a switchable. A big switchable, but a switchable nonetheless.

It's one of the reasons I didn't put his name in my username...I wanted to treat him no differently than any other recruit.  TEAM is the name of the game, no I in team.

Yes.  I hope our fans let the kid enjoy the experience and don't go overkill on it.  Dead serious.  There will be some that will expect him to walk on water, which is unfortunate.  There will be some that will carve statue figurines and put them next to their bed.  Whatever.  Cool to be excited, I'm certainly happy he is at MU.  I hope that fans will let him enjoy the experience, one can already tell by this thread and others that the expectations are not always linked to reality....that's my concern, especially when talking about 18 year old kids.  Some people expect too much....it's fandom, I get it.  To each their own.

It's one of the reasons I didn't put his name in my username...I wanted to treat him no differently than any other recruit.  TEAM is the name of the game, no I in team.  An exceptional talent, no doubt.  Hope he enjoys MU, I trust he will.

today he's blabbing about how HE thinks/plays all for himself and is bigger than the team

oh have you seen him play in Rice Lake?

No but everyone, even Homer said it last night on the radio and will Wally even get many minutes this season?

Um, no, he's got to sit out because he just transferred  ::)

Yeah--Real Chili needs to move to 1A, of course only eating after the Pledge of Allegiance, and eating there with your family.

And finally official on the scholarship table!

http://www.muscoop.com/index.php?page=8

You actually have a couple of errors though.

Todd Mayo shouldn't be listed at all because he isn't using a scholarship.  Gabe Levin should be listed, even though he has already transferred, because he used one.  Either way, you should have a 1 under scholarships available because only 12 scholarships have been used.

rocky_warrior

I only disagree about listing Levin.  The others fixed, I think.
