Wardle took over a team that last went to the NCAAs in 1996...when Wardle was a junior at Hinsdale High.

That's hinsdale central high school.  Not just hinsdale.

A buddy of mine from my Viper days is a UAL Captain and lives in Hinsdale. From what I could tell of his neighborhood it wasn't really the Projects.

It's definitely not. It's classic far out Chicago suburbs.  Money, big backyards and subdivisions... Nicest mcdonalds I've ever seen

Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

Of course you left out the part where you said "don't be that guy first."  But again...logic isn't your strong suit.

If you and Chicos want to make it official, you can get married in WI now.

TAMU, Knower of Ball

I didn't realize this when Keefe first started this thread but Seltzer was not just fired for turnover. He was fired for EXTREME turnover.

Samford had no seniors on last year's team. That means with an entire returning core and some new recruits, Samford was poised for a good year. Not good for a normal team, but good for a team that plays in the Southern conference. Could have maybe even challenged for the conference title.

Despite being set for a good 2014-2015 campaign, 7 players transferred out of Samford, 4 starters and the top 3 bench players, including their all conference stud Tim Williams (would love to land him btw). Now Williams is understandable, he's got size and high major talent. Kids like that leave southern conference programs all the time. But to have six players go with him? That's a major red flag. I don't know if Seltzer deserves the blame for that, but it's a sign that something isn't right.

you aardvark yourself.  He merely said "Aardvark you".  Not sure who was supposed to do the aardvark-ing.   Not really a call for self aardvark-ing.

I was at RAF Bicester back in my Viper days. Developed a taste for warm hand pulled. It was good living.

I think you should have some more respect for some of the Commies on this board...we don't want a hostile board.

Are you sure you didn't mean warm, jug served?
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Actually, no. A lot of pubs in UK still have cask beer on offer. It is literally hand pumped and therefore takes about 15 minutes to pull a pint due to all the foam. We worked in London but bought a place in Winchester for the sake of being in the countryside. I used to stop in at the Black Boy for a pint on my walk home from the train station. I would call ahead from the train and the bar maid would have a pint ready for me when I walked in. The Brit pub culture is fascinating. It takes a while to gain trust but once you're in it becomes a second home.

That's because it's down the road from the corporate headquarters in Oak Brook and many executives live in Hinsdale.
I saw former CEO Jim Skinner in there a few years back.

Isn't that Ogden and York?  I feel like there's lesser McDonalds between the headquarters on 22nd over by the mall.  I mean I could be completely wrong it just never made sense why that Mcdonalds wasn't the one like at the Oak Brook mall

Yes, you're right -- the one on 22nd is the test location and I think where the Hamburger University grads have to spend a day, when they go off the corporate campus.
I'm not sure either why the York Rd. one got the funky design.
