I'm not doubting the power a coach holds.  Williams, wanted to increase academic standards and police the team more.  In effect, he was going to inhibit recruiting which would take the program back.  Any AD who acted in this manner would have been let go, especially at a school that pays the 2nd most for a basketball program.

O yea School just ended, off to teach another two hours at Case HS, where I was selected from a large pool of candidates to teach a Racine Unified Pilot program.  But yea Leever I must really suck cause I did not know what Ron Paul looked like.

This idea that academic standards automatically = defeat is sad in so many ways.  I think some folks here believe MU was requiring a 4.0 GPA and 2200 on the SAT.  Hardly.

Actually, it was Fond du Lac, not Kenosha.  But it probably would played the same if set in Kenosha.
