No. I don't understand art but a lot of it is real (some is total nonsense).

Music is great. It's being made by real people (er... usually).

Little sitcoms and "dramas" are made up little stories. To invest time and become fascinated in something that has little depth is strange to me. "oh but dude these characters are complex!" .. OK, just not my thing. I think if you enjoy having a Blue Moon with a big orange wedge while hanging out w/ur boyz watching TV, then you'd probably love fiction TV shows. Just not my deal. I hate it.

I don't get why you would go into a post about TV shows you have no intention of watching for the express purpose of saying you don't watch them ... and everybody that does watch them is an imbecile who lives in a fantasy world.

Is your life that pathetic that you need to criticize people you don't know just to make yourself feel superior?

Why don't you go on the Wisconsin fan board and tell them their team sucks? Or go on political boards and rail about Obama or Boehner or whomever you happen to hate? Or an LGBT board and hate on gay folks.

If I had no freakin' interest in Scrabble, I'm sure as hell not going to a Scrabble board and ripping on people who play Scrabble.

But that's just me.

Then why did you come in this thread in the first place? Simply to be a trolling douche. Ooh, I'm so great because I learned about ancient Mesopotamia and how they made their arrowheads. Now I can lord that completely useless knowledge over all my inferior friends, because my form of entertainment is better than theirs.

Seriously, this has to be the stupidest attempt at "I'm better than you" I've ever seen. Furthermore, the simple notion of "I'm better than you" for people who are of adult age on the internet is pathetic in and of itself. Enjoy the latest reality show about cheating spouses that kill each other...I'm sure that highbrow entertainment will really serve you well  ::)

I clicked on the thread bc I had heard of it but didn't know what it was. Curiosity. Too bad if that's upsetting. Maybe watching your favorite make believe people on TV will brighten your day.

It's sort if like a freak show. I'm not trying to hang out with Crab Boy or get a date w/the chick w/3 ........ But I might take a quick look.

So some creativity is real and some isn't? Guess I don't understand. Was Dickens or Shakespeare or Tolstoy creative or did they just make up silly little stories?

For that matter, are mountains interesting or just big piles of rock? Oceans - basically a puddle, only bigger? Is the desert a fascinating place to visit or just a lot of sand? Does anything in life fascinate you?

Blacks and whites are just the edges - the interesting stuff is all of the grays in-between. These aren't meant as criticisms - we just must be from different planets.

No, it's not that at all. Taking a quick look and realizing it is something that disinterests you is fine. Move on and enjoy your day. I don't care if you get your jollies watching the history channel, Japanese cartoons, 24 hours of CNN, Breaking Bad, or QVC. Do what you like. But when you go out of your way to be condescending and posting in threads like this, you are being a troll and an asshat.

Do you want to know why I don't spend much time in the MLB thread or the NFL threads? Because I don't have much of an interest in that. And if someone posts a Superbar thread that I click on only to learn I don't have interest in, I don't deride the people in the thread, I just move on with my day.

Regardless...before you try to get all cutesy with another "Duh...brew strokes it to Breaking Bad" kind of post, realize you're trying to be an Internet badass because you turned on the History Channel.

A lot of guys like you are more concerned with anti-GMO literature, quoting dumb fictional characters from weekly TV shows, and being upset with those who believe in God. Maybe some futbol is OK, but MLB & NFL? Too American for your refined tastes.

So now anyone that doesn't think like you doesn't believe in God AND hates America? Just a really weird post, dude.

Good man.   :D   I jokingly asked because the television porn industry has been in decline for a long time.  It's part of my department so it is fun when Vivid, Hustler, Playboy or whomever show up from time to time, but that business is consumed with free stuff online so much that not much going on with the tv anymore.
