Wow.  An astronomical sum.  $660 million to make things "go away" and settle with kids abused by priests.

A phenomenal amount of money for the largest arch diocese in the country.  All told you have to wonder what this thing will cost the church not just in money, but in other terms as these cases continue to wind through the system.
