ESPN game schedule is set prior to the season.
But _does_ effect ESPN's news coverage, which is probably his point.

madtownwarrior

or maybe we can just combine these "where will be ranked" threads with the equally dumb "where lunardi has us seeded" threads in January with exacting detail on potential opponents and possible game venues...

Quote from: LastWarrior on January 14, 2012, 10:54:08 PM
Agreed!  Seriously moderators... can we stop these stupid threads from popping up each week?

real chili 83

This topic, with a weekly thread, with a date, or one thread that we use throughout the seasaon is fine with me.

If you don't like threads on this topic, simply don't read them.  There are plenty of people, who have chimed in on this thread, who like this topic.

Just like thread's on Vander, or Durley, or whatever the topic is....if you don't like the topic, don't read it.

If it is a duplicate of another thread, the moderators can take care of it....or you can report it to a moderator.

Geez, get over it.

GO WARRIORS!!!!!!

AP 17 / Coaches 18

+/- 1 on either of those, depends on how bad UConn is punished for losing two to unranked teams.

Hopefully as bad as we were punished for losing to two ranked teams on the road.

amiright?

There will be a big shake up in the rankings. I say either 17 or 18 sounds about right. Wouldn't be surprised to see MU a little higher, however,

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

I think we should be top 15, but we'll probably move up 2 spots. That said, as long as Buzz can keep a chip on the team's shoulder, that's fine by me.

LAZER

It'll be interesting to see where UConn and IU fall, I'd imagine they will both take quite a hit.  Miss St will be interesting also after losing to Ole Miss and beating Vandy.

Badger should sneak in this week after taking down Illinois.

Indeed. Their beatdown of Northwestern was also impressive.

Big Ten may be consistently decent, but there's not a single great team.

Watching Northwestern/Minnesota right now.  They are taking the air out of Bucky's big win over them.  Horrible 1st half for them.

I think tOSU and MSU are really good. After that...there's probably another 5-6 teams that are tourney teams, but I'm not sure any are better than a 6-seed. That conference is really deep, but it isn't particularly good, if that makes sense.

I think that at the top, the Big 12, Big East, and SEC are all better than the Big Ten. Heck, even the ACC is, though it's probably only a 4-bid league.

I have to imagine that both would drop Virginia after losing to winless ACC rival Va Tech tonight.

Update: Davis tweeted that he dropped UVA to 19 and moved Florida up to 13. I presume that means MU will be 18 in his poll now...I will update up top.

Will Dukey V finally vote for us this week?

He'll vote us top ten... just as soon as we flood him with emails insisting that he's a much better analyst than Al ever was.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.
