Not having the stat for possessions in a game for everyone... 71 seems super low

If you were to score 2 points on every possession the game would be 71-71. That doesn't seem crazy high offense for a 100% shooting percentage.

I'm not sure what math you are doing here...but if you scored two points on every possession in a 71 possession game, the score would be 142-142.

When someone says a game is 71 possessions long, that means BOTH teams got 71 possessions (technically one team might have got 1 or 2 more less than the other team depending on who won the tip, how many jumpballs there were and who got the last possession of each half).

Great pub for MU.  Very difficult to get opportunities like this.  Have to have the right team and the right schedule to get it done.  The 4 ranking has the attention of basketball fans.  Number 1 would really amplify that to all sports fans. This a big-time week for the program. 10:30 cannot get here fast enough. We all have waited a very long time to have a week like this one and I believe the experience on this team will not allow for the moment to be too big for them. Last year they fed off of the UNC loss and I think they learned a lot against MSU last year. I'm an eye test guy and they looked to have a poise of top 5 team against Illinois last week.

I agree on the poise they showed against a longer athletic team in Illinois on the road.  I could easily see MU winning all three games this week and being number 1.  My only concern is Oso's shoulder.  I haven't read anywhere that it has been a problem for him this week, which is good.  The team needs him and Gold to be their best against the best.  MU needs their length. 

Should be fun!
