The higher we can get in the polls after a two win week the better. Gives cushion to stay in the rankings when we have a 1-1 type week.  We are 19th in the coaches poll  so maybe less upside there this week than  21 AP.

This is my thinking too.  Many not buying the Big East as equal to other power conferences , maybe Nova but  not the rest of the teams.

The Big East is not as top heavy as B10 or ACC, but I'd is every bit as deep As every other confernce this season. The lack of respect is a joke. Marquette, Nova, SJU and Hall are all legit top 25 teams.

I think literally everyone in the top 25, from about 11 thru 25 lost sans MU and Buffalo.  So there is more than a chance to make a sizea le leap of 6-7-8 spots.  However, apart from winning we did not do anything compelling, ie. A big win against a higher ranked opponent that usualky councides with that type of leap.  What we did do is win twice, and unfortunately pollsters may consider one of those wins highly lucky.  Lucky or nit we went 2-0 and many teams above us went 1-1, so i dont see the jump to 13-14, rather a jump to 16-17-18.

As an aside the teams losing below us will help too as assuredly some of those teams were receiving votes ahead of us and will no longer
