Not sure.....ask the coaching staff.

Maymon got awful advice from his father, and I have no idea what he was like himself, but to say he was an awful prospect is ridiculous.  If Buzz is able to get him to buy into the team and if he does what Buzz tells him he needs to do to get better he's playing big minutes for us.

This exactly.

I agree, but would add that everything I had heard about JMay from those I trust who knew him in High School, is that he was a good kid.  Maybe listenned to the wrong person a bit too much.  Sad how it has turned out for him.

Wasn't there speculation that Deonte was going to committ as part of his visit?  Any word?

BrewCity83

If he's here today, we sure can't blame the weather if the visit isn't a great one.  Man, it's gorgeous today.

Canadian Dimes

seeing how the kid is from Milwaukee, I dont think the weather on any particular day will have any affect on his decision.

No, there was a comment from Mark Miller that there was a chance, but Mark never said it was a definite.

Mark tweeted on August 26th that Deonte will likely decide in the fall.

If he was on campus today he had a special guest.  Wade walked out of the Annex earlier today.  Wonder what he was there for...

He's there to present the Boys and Girls Club scholarships.

Scrounging through Twitter and not found anything yet...if it comes, I'm sure either I or someone else will post it!

jeffreyweee

Should be soon if there is news. I'm assuming he had school and was heading over after.

kmwtrucks

He Goes to Prep School on the East Coast. Probably starts after Labor day.

Per Twitter:

Quote from: Mark MillerNo commitment, but a very positive visit for Milwaukee native and Brewster Academy wing Deonte Burton (2013) at Marquette today.

D'oh! Here's hoping he decides before too long...definitely say we're the favorite right now.

BCHoopster

Why commit, there is tremendous amount of time between now and then.  2 school years away, MU
might find 2 better players by then.

Smart people don't make rash decisions...but it certainly seems like he is a big MU lean!!

I remember when Kris Dunn said he really wanted to go to Marquette. And that was only six months ago.

crap can happen at any time in this foolish business.

Lanche - my kids think I'm the all time gloom and doomer when it comes to Marquette basketball, but you make me look like a Pollyanna.
