Examples, please.  Not just a media narrative that is being pushed.

The examples lie in the comment sections and the replies of the most maladjusted fans of the stated examples. As we know Twitter and the like is a cesspool.

This of course does not mean Piker and the like are openly antisemitic like is being pushed, rather it's projecting the lunatics in that area of fandom into the main representation of their views. (And also a useful position to take as a centrist trying to depress the left flank).

America has and continues to have an antisemitism problem. However this problem is being co-opted to weaponize against prominent voices on the left.

And it doesn't really matter if they denounce the most extreme positions of their fans, it will never be enough.

The difference lies in separating condemning the nation vs projecting on the entire religion. (which piker has explained in detail many times!). This differs from the "wink wink" which I think is the important distinction between a Piker and a Tucker. But for the cynically opportunistic among us, it's the same because it's convenient to say so.

From a personal standpoint, I have two close friends working on college campuses (in Colorado) who were each victims of taunts and verbal abuse, by their own students, and were told they were not of a "protected class" and to "deal with it." One has a colleague who is also the coach of an Israeli national team who had a swastika carved into his office door and was openly mocked about one of his team members being murdered on October 7. One of the guys, in Colorado Springs, was told by his son's teachers (elementary age) that for their safety, they should "not be openly Jewish," which included bringing "Jewish food" for lunch and celebrating Hanukkah. Totally normal stuff, right? BTW, both of those guys are left-leaning. But sure, call it a "media narrative."

And keep ignoring that the psychos who carried out the attack in San Diego also targeted Jews.

Yes, Jews are now and have often been targets. Antisemitism is disgusting, and it appears to be increasing. And there are those who use anti-Israel messaging and/or actions as a thinly veiled disguise for antisemitism.

That said, there is STILL a difference between criticizing Israeli government leaders and being antisemitic. If there weren't, my Orthodox Jewish, Tel Aviv resident brother would be antisemitic ... and I can assure you that he is not.

If they were right wing groups that would have been mentioned by the media. Do you really think the students at Columbia were a bunch of MAGA choads? Progressive ideology is staunchly anti-Israel (it's a single issue litmus test for them now...and it's amazing to see how it's blowing up on them in Maine with Plattner) and they have used that to tar all Jews as "Zionists" and justify threats and violence.

Being able to criticize the actions of one's own side doesn't not make one disloyal to the overall cause. It's a shame the MAGAs refuse to realize that.
