I think that there are far more important things, like who Shaka brings in, does Owens finally show signs of living up to the expectations, do Sheek, Miletic, and Nash turn into pleasant surprises along the lines of Nigel last season (that doesn't necessarily mean at the same level though).

I would have preferred that Hamilton had left, but I think his being on the team is a very minor issue. No way is he going to be the first-off-the-bench 5. As you said, some here will simply not let it go. They will find other things to bitch about as well. Already 69 is worried of the possibility of another terrible season even before Shaka goes to the portal.     

Not sure about the bolded. I agree we will bring in a starting quality center. But if Sheek isn't quite ready especially on defense? I think CH in backup minutes is possible

This old man would be more ready on defense than Hamilton. And I can actually put the ball in the basket if I'm right below it and no one is nearby to challenge me. 

I'm guessing Sheek is better than me, so I'm pretty sure he will be the backup 5.

If we have another terrible season the world won't end. After all it is just basketball. Though you may not believe it I do hope for a winning season. At least we agree that Hamilton should have left. He is taking up a transfer's spot who could provide meaningful minutes.

The defense was better with him on the floor........other things go into playing defense besides vertical jumping ability.

Ps I don't disagree......he isn't a good jumper.

Yeah, I know.   Just having some fun with scoopers suggesting that Hamilton might be the backup 5. Actually...that's possible if Sheek is a bust. But my Gawd, I hope it does not happen. I'm looking forward to Sheek being given a chance to show what he can do.
