While I like Katz's take and choose to be optimistic myself, that's a very legitimate question.

Meh, no reason to be a stick in the mud.  It can be a fun thought experiment to rank them now after the season but before all the balls drop with transfers.  Then after portal mess is done, go back and do it again and see what's changed. 

Or, just don't read it if you don't like it.    ;)

It won't.  St. Louis isn't keeping Schertz long term.  If he was sniffing around freaking NC State, he's looking for a life raft.

Schertz wasn't going to take a mid-level P4 job, which was pretty much all that was out there that he was a legit candidate for. He'll have another big year at SLU and be ready to jump to a higher level P4 job like Tennessee.

No.  Shoothoops has already crowned SLU the Gonzaga of the Midwest.  Looking forward to their multiple national title appearances.

I can see Tennessee for sure, but I think Golden will be at Florida for a while.
