He will be ready for the season

The one MU guy that better be working his ass off in off season is Shaka on the recruiting trail. Giddyup Shaka.

100 shots right under the basket with no defender within 10 feet of him would be a better use of his time.

I would rather he do the drill that Oso excelled at.  Grabbing the ball off the ground and going up and dunking.  With another offseason of working together, the opportunity for Caedin, Josh, and Sheek to perfect their lob game with NJ awaits.

Caedin is Oso if Oso couldn't jump.

Tower is so all in on this 'center core' that it's amazing to me.

That is a lot of Willett's Red Hook Rye!

...and right under the basket no less.

Well, terrific - looks like we'll be treated to another year of Ham-I-Am. Was hoping for better on Portal Day.

The option is to complain endlessly and there is already an overabundance of that.  Since they chose to stay, I will choose to root for them.

Re Nash Walker, from today's Ben Steele story on jsonline:

"Walker has potential as a combo guard with ball-handling and shooting, but he hurt his shoulder late in the season and could miss a large chunk of the off-season while recovering."

The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

Well there goes next season. Our sharp shooter is out for most of the practice season where we actually excel.

I frowned when I saw Hamilton practicing.

Meh. Hamilton should get the same attention here as a preferred walk-on.

Why would they choose to stay when they could get so much more playing time elsewhere? In fact I wonder why Tre chose to leave and not finish his Senior year here. If the players are making these decisions, that is reason enough to complain.

Who knows. They may still be on their way out, but as of now it does not look that way.

Ehhhh... there's enough proof of Shaka judgement being clouded with him that it's worth being at least a little bit concerned.
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

This I agree with. I hope Caedin and Clark put it all together and do 3x as many hook shots becoming serviceable high major backups to a young Sheek. I can be doubtful it happens and think they don't belong here talent wise but similar to Wojo as long as they're here I will root for their success.

Said I was not sure, worst part is he will miss practice time for awhile. He is a key ingredient if Shaka does not bring in another guard.  But I would be shocked if Shaka does not

Rooting for Caedin and believing he's not a player for a good power-conference program are not mutually exclusive.
I hope he proves me wrong. It would take a massive developmental leap from him to do so, one that I'm not sure he has the skills and physical tools to make.
