Quote from: #UnleashJosh on March 07, 2026, 01:20:24 PMYou're watching this game..... and you want chase and Ben more? Are you serious.

Ross and Ben definitely helped us win this game.  Two huge threes by Ross and the tip flush by Benny.

Wasn't a foul.  Especially the way they were calling the game.

Hurley tries to bully and looks absurd. :

Thank God it was Senior Day! All the difference.

All kidding aside, that was the best game of the season. Both Gold and Ross with some big plays down the stretch. MU was pretty even on rebounds in the 2nd half.

Always nice to beat UConn.    And Hurley bumping the ref.  Classless
Great win MU!

Lost the FT% battle 94% to 61%.

Thank goodness #FTsNoMatta

Great game, MU!!

Great defense by Ben on the last drive. Just like Miami OH's stop to go undefeated. Really tough to stay straight up and hold your ground but he did it with everything on the line. Great stuff

The fact is we were the better team today.  It should have been more like a 10-12 point victory, but we'll take the win and Hurley getting tossed.

Thank you Ben and Chase for some huge senior contributions down the stretch!

MU has just demonstrated they are a "Top 3" team today!

Let's run the table!   8-)

Not that I really care, but will Hurley be suspended for their next game for bumping the ref?

Sure I guess everyone's helps us win if you ignore all the bad things they did and only bring up the 3 (😁) things they did well.

Yes. I wouldn't be suprised if its more than one actually.

I've been critical of Caedin, and my opinion on him being on the team next year still holds, but he had a few nice moments today, so kudos for him.

He was overwhelmed physically a couple times, but yeah he did play well overall.

IMHO, he looks just as uncomfortable on a college basketball court as he did in November. Again my opinion, but he doesn't have a feel for the game. I think the game is too fast for him.

MU generally played good defense on the perimeter, but I would never have expected UConn to go 3 for 24 on 3's.

What a great game to end the home season after some of the dreary games, including the clunker against DePaul.

You're probably right.

Just wanted to give him a shoutout for his contribution today. He's certainly played worse. Obviously this season has been a huge disappointment, but Chase's back to back threes, Ben's putback dunk and stout defense at the end, plus Caedin playing several solid minutes...it all contributed to upsetting a top 5 team. Not the biggest reasons, but it was nice to see.

That being said, three more years of Nigel and Adrien is gonna be a problem for the Big East. Nigel deservedly gets the headlines, but man, Adrien is a beast.

Quote from: MuggsyB on March 07, 2026, 01:47:37 PMWhy would you bring Caedin in there?

Not sure exactly what point in the game this was. But Shaka was playing a lot of offense/defense in the last few minutes to try to avoid Gold getting a fifth foul.

Good guess. OT was very possible with MU giving up some of our lead late.

Blown FTs again were costly. We should have won by 8-10.

Settling for 3s toward the end was way more costly than missed FTs. We stopped moving on offense.

Yep. Scared the crap out of me and I kept wondering why we did that.

So, in the last week MU has helped get Kim English fired, possibly wrecked UConn's hopes for a 1 seed and broken Dan Hurley's brain to the point he may get a suspension?
