True, but still...I find it amazing that anyone could be so completely clueless.

Actually, there are other examples but I would be accused of being political, so I will leave it be.

Quote from: MU82 on June 09, 2026, 10:35:49 AMAs post-game criticism of officials go, Brown's comments were pretty benign. Riley, Jackson and others over the years have made far more critical remarks. Same with Redick and Finch earlier this postseason.

I saw it as Brown, who rarely rips refs at all, trying to plant the seed for the next game. And if the Knicks do get more calls in Game 4, it wouldn't be surprising if Mitch Johnson makes similar critical remarks afterward.

Agree, but the Knicks playing better in the 4th quarter would have been a more important factor.

I don't think Brown's tactic-assuming that is what it was-will have much, if any, impact on the next game.

Edit: Wemby has gotten away with some fouls (as do all players), and one non-call involving Wemby with Brunson was especially outrageous. It will be interesting to see if the refs tighten up a bit on him.

Thank you for getting this thread back on topic.

Brunson has to play better. Way too much bouncy-ball, just dribbling the shot clock down until there's either a desperation shot or turnover.

Mike Brown should get Tyko out there.

MuggsyB

This has been an incredible quarter for SA.

The Sultan

The Knicks are just falling apart mentally.

Pretty good 1st half for Vassell and Harper.

Wemby is thoroughly enjoying getting into all their heads. The Knicks can't even make FTs at a decent rate. Imagine spending x thousands for a seat to watch this crap. Down by 27 at the half. Wow!

SA doing a lot of idiotic things in the 3Q.

MuggsyB

Wow.  This game is long from over.

MuggsyB

This is absolutely incredible!

De'Aaron Fox, what are you doing?

MuggsyB

We'll never see anything like this again in a Finals game.  Beyond belief.

wadesworld

At least Mitch Johnson hung onto those timeouts as they blew a 29 point lead so he could draw THAT up.

Between having Harper on the bench the last 4 minutes of game 1, basically every single end of quarter play they've run this series, and now this absolute choke job, I wouldn't be confident in him.

MuggsyB

They'll be talking about this game the next 100 yrs.  Biggest gag job I've ever seen to be honest.
