Idk we're not the coaches but thought he was back up pg

I was wrong. Pretty funny that KAT is going to have a ring and Jimmy Butler isn't. Might even have a Finals MVP trophy.

Quote from: The Sultan on June 04, 2026, 06:24:20 PMThose Frazier/Reed Knicks teams had five Hall of Famers including Bradley, DeBusschere, and (an admittedly over the hill) Monroe.

The Pearl averaged 20 ppg for 4 years for those Knick teams even though he totally adjusted his game to compliment Clyde. Amazing that the Knicks retired the Jersey of a guy who was "over the hill".

Can't argue with the last shot the Spurs got. Open 16-footer for their star. He just missed it.

And Mr. Clutch Brunson missed both an open layup and a free throw down the stretch. Remember that when a Marquette player bricks a big shot next season.

The Spurs got away with mugging Brunson all night ... and they still lost.

Wouldn't it have been a better percentage to get your 7'4" star the ball near the basket? But from what I've seem,Mitch Johnson has never figured out a way to do that.

Not really. Hasn't played anything but mop up duty in the playoffs.

Quote from: MU82 on June 04, 2026, 04:42:58 PMIf he leads NY to a title, Brunson has to go on the Knicks' Mount Rushmore with Frazier and Reed. And I guess Ewing?
No way! Dean Meminger, Doc Rivers, Steve Novak and Tyler Kolek. ;D

Quote from: MuggsyB on June 03, 2026, 10:26:12 PMI think this series is over.  SA doesn't really have a h-c offense or a go-to guy.  They also inexplicably benched Harper the last 6 mins.

The Knicks are just better and the Spurs' youth is showing. They might sweep.

Perhaps you're in a bad mood.  Give the young man some time.  You can't teach 7'5 with his agility.

Read some Camus and Balzac.  Ponder their points, have a souffle, and re-examine your life and purpose in this world.  Or....watch the opening sequence of Team America if you want to reaffirm your hostility and anger.

Every time Wembanyama rises up for a 3, the Knicks smile.

Sure, he'll make one every so often, but the Knicks will happily live with that.

Kudos! I think you have set a new record for consecutive hook, line, and sinker posts/replies.

Sounds like he had an accidental fall at his home.
