BTW  I did see the ref counting Teleport's free throw time
I thought he was taking an extraordinary amount of time so I counted too towards the end of the game.  I made it to 10 once and was about to say 11 when he let the next one go.  It felt like an eternity.

There were also two instances where Butler let about 8-10 seconds of game time elapse prior to inbounding the ball.  One was end of 1st half where we had shot with about 38 or 39 seconds left in the half...they putzed around and didn't inbound the ball until right around the :30 mark, costing us a 2 for 1 opportunity.  Guessing that was intentional (and smart) but haven't gone back to rewatch it.

To avoid parking issues, I strongly recommend the route my wife and I took 2 years ago on a balmy February dad: (i) hang out it St Elmo's upstairs lounge until you can't function the night before; (ii) early afternoon, start walking toward the stadium from downtown Indy; (iii) stop for a quick lunch to try and get something into your system; (iv) continue the journey north, stopping along the way at various spots for either hydration or a beverage; (v) arrive at on-campus bar at Butler and meet up with MU82. Helps with the hangover, builds character, and makes you feel sort of productive.

Then just uber from the game after a beer at the campus bar post-game.

Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

It was clearly intentional and the refs started a count.  Chase scored with 37 seconds left (off a creative inbound play, btw) and Butler inbounded with 29 seconds left.

There was one point in the first half where the ref's let a Butler player re-tie their shoe but didnt stop the clock.  It was about 7-8 mins left in the half? Was easily 10-15 secs of game clock.

If you don't mind walking a bit, south of 46th street was not zoned, 2 years ago. Just have to remember where you parked, houses and streets all look the same.

Also, one of the plays where it looked like Butler was standing still on defense...

A variation of last year when TKo would pass the ball to Oso, go through and engage his own defender, bumping his defender into Oso's defender, leading to an Oso slash to the rim and dunk through the alley TKo created.

Kam dribble to the foul line and dumped back to Stevie above the 3 pt line.  Kam continues, he and his defender have two hands on each other, and Kam used his defender holding him to seal Stevie's defender.  Straight line drive while the strong side wing defender stayed home on a 3 pt shooter, providing no help.

Yep - if you arrive early enough, there's a good amount of parking on the side streets within a 5-ish-minute walk to the bar (Chatham Tap) and the arena.

The last two years, we've stayed at an Airbnb about a mile away and walked to Chatham/Hinkle. Easy peasy!
