And he has all 4 years of eligibility left.
Have some patience, FFS.

Can MU be competitive with their NIL money?

If they can give Kam Jones $2MM, they can give Giannis over the $175MM he's due the next 3 years.

Quote from: MUMountin on January 25, 2025, 10:02:42 AMOfficiating Q:  should they have called offensive basket interference on Parham on Stevie's layup?  Hit the ball while it was still in the net and it popped up and then dropped back through.  In the moment I thought he should've been called, but don't know the exact rule.  Nova bench definitely thought so.

Stevie looked over at him and motioned for him to chill right after.

I thought so in real time and on the replay. A bit surprised it wasn't.

I don't know how the rule is written, but calling that offensive interference would be silly. It was already through the hoop and halfway down the net when it was touched. Had no impact on whether the shot was good or not.

Went back and checked.  Stanford offered Stevie. All that needs to be said.

Just a guess, but I think the rationale of what you describe as "halfway down the hoop" may be that the ball sometimes seems to defy the laws of physics and pops back out. We got away with one. Works for me!

No, the basket was clearly good.

That was my assumption, too. But anything rules-related I could find online indicates the opposite.

Caveat: I couldn't find the actual rule.

Of course
, but it could have been waved off IF my guess about the rule is correct. Guess is the operative word. Where's Jay Bee when we need him?

Driscoll made the motion that the ball was already below the cylinder. I think it was the right no-call.

Hahahahahahahaha. Chase Ross is the EGB champ for Nova game. At the end of this video you can see him doing the "bring it on" motion telling the defender to step up. Too good.
