Listen to this shaka post game!

But I also should add through all the "voices"

Shaka confirmed the team has been grinding it with injuries. Week off will be huge

Stevie rarely practices. Kam did roll an ankle pre ISU which is why he's looked gimpy. Chase and Zaide of course.

Lets get healthy and ride

Very satisfying win. Shaka is a GD treasure.

Did anyone watching on Fox catch the moment at the end of the game where they showed Shaka with his arm around Cam Brown? At the moment, I thought he was putting in Cam for the last few seconds. But then, Stevie, Kam and Jop were substituted and Shaka huddled with the four seniors. "The Guardians" as Jones subsequently mentioned, I'm guessing.

What an afternoon!

Quote from: CountryRoads on December 07, 2024, 04:54:49 PMFootball success gives them a lot of energy. They have been beaten down the last few years on the gridiron. Seems this game has been played the same day as the B10 championship game with UW in it on multiple occasions. Remember one year they blamed the loss on the band not being there lol. Our program now with all the retention and redshirts is what theirs used to be.

Quote from: forgetful on December 07, 2024, 03:04:36 PMInteresting to see that the Badgers fans thought we got the favorable whistle. Pretty balanced in the 2nd half, but they thought we got the favorable whistle in the 1st half too.

Thought Tonje's clear offensive foul to be a horrendous call, even though he could have been called for about 4 more, and multiple travels.

My observation is that every fan base always thinks they get the worst end of the whistle.....they tend to only notice the calls they don't get........it's really amazing how true it is in almost every game a team loses.....and even many when they win....lol

I counted 9 turnovers for Tonje.

ATL MU Warrior

I don't know how many turnovers he had, but once the favorable whistle in 1st half went away he was pretty bad.

He had as many turnovers as the entire Marquette team.......but if you go through a badger board game thread ( as I did) you will discover that MU was traveling on just about every drive in the first half....... ?-(

Excellent effort by the whole team. Once again Kam demonstrates the ability to post 30 plus playing within a team concept.

Hopefully all the banged up folks will be able to use the week until Dayton to get healthy

No problem, mon.  Assuming no unexpected departures, a starting line up of Gold, Parham, DO, Chase, Tre/Sean.  Assuming normal development, I still see a top 15 starting line up.  Caedin, Clark, Zaide.  Next season has the potential to be absolutely filthy.

Not sure on filthy or even top 15 but yeah, that group with the length and athleticism could cause quite the chaos for the opponent.

Will just need to develop offense as a unit

Always.  Senior year Ben and Chase, one year older, wiser, stronger DO and Parham is a helluva place to start.
