Yep, you'll vote for the very antisemite that you said you never would support. Not to mention a convicted felon.

But even though you support an antisemite, what does that have to do with you repeatedly insisting you know what's better for Israeli Jews than Israeli Jews do? Isn't it bad enough you wanted to trade Giannis about 10 seconds before he led the Bucks to the title?

75% of Orthdox Jews vote Republican.

Never said I wouldn't vote for Trump. Clearly wasn't my first choice. However, you say he's anti-semitic, I don't, hey?

We've been over this and over this. Your favorite convicted felon gives support to and seeks support from antisemites. He does it repeatedly. He has surrounded himself with Jew-haters. He kowtows to Putin, who would help Iran wipe Israel off the face of the earth. And he has made numerous antisemitic comments in the last couple of months. He even publicly criticized Bibi - I actually don't think that's antisemitic, but you apparently do.

He's an antisemite. You don't make excuses for white supremacists who chant "Jews will not replace us," and dine with neo-Nazis, and accept support from KKK leaders if you care about Jews.

Not in any sane world, anyway.

Yes, religious extremists typically vote Republican. They just differ about the specifics of the theocracy they prefer.
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

About 10% of American Jews identify as Orthodox.
71% of Jews overall vote Democrat.

Would you say the Orthodox Jews that vote Republican are antisemitic?  Or will vote for Trump?   That was my point.

Also, some Orthodox Jews are religious extremists. There are many sects.

No, I don't believe voting Republican makes a person antisemitic. I leave those kinds of judgements to the experts - Wisconsin dentists.

But they do think that disagreeing with Israel makes someone antisemitic, and that is just as foolish.

I never said that if you vote Republican you are an antisemite. That's as dopey as those - including Convicted J. Felon - saying that if you vote Democrat you hate Jews and you hate Israel. His comment was ridiculous, wrong and antisemitic.

I said Convicted J. Felon goes out of his way to solicit support from and give support to antisemites. He surrounds himself with Jew haters. That's just a fact. If you want to claim that he loves Jews, cool, but it involves a lot of pretzel-twisting logic.

The guy used "very fine people " to describe the Charlottesville torch-carriers; he gets off on antisemitic groups like the Proud Boys; and he loves Jew-hater MTG. If Jews - Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, Hasidic, whatever - vote for him ... well, to borrow 4elder's word, they're misguided.

Thankfully, the vast majority of American Jews rejected that antisemite twice already, and they'll reject him again in November. One more thing that makes me feel good about my heritage.

Scoop's dentists - or at least one of them - believe there is a right and wrong way for Jews to behave politically, and they are the arbiter of what that is.
That is not something I agree with.

With all due respect I don't think Trump didn't get much of the Jewish vote because he is "an antisemite."  I think it's pretty common knowledge that most Jewish Americans vote for Denocrats and have for quite some time.

I wouldn't consider Trump an antisemite. I would consider him an anti-antiTrump, meaning if you dont agree with him 100%, you are dead to him. That is not a compliment, BTW.

Trump doesn't play footsie with antisemites because he is one. He plays footsie with antisemites because those antisemites kiss his a--, and those are his favorite kinds of people.

He may not be antisemitic himself, but he has a long history of tolerating those in his orbit who have been overtly antisemitic in their past.

I don't disagree with that.  He's always been a jagoff imo.  That said, essentially 1/2 the country is going to vote for him for a wide range of reasons.  That doesn't make them by association  racists, antisemites, or whatever label Dems want to give people that have different political views.

Well less than half the country will vote for either Biden or Trump.

Off topic, but I always wondered why voting in person is only one day. Just saw India finished their election. What was it 6 weeks?

I can't even tell you the last time I voted on Election Day.

Because nothing can ever change for the better in the USA without fighting for it for decades.  We have the delusion that our constitution is a 'perfect' document, and shouldn't be changed except by a damn near impossible mechanism.

What a waste.

No, but it means they're willing to accept racists and antisemites in positions of power.
Because, make no mistake, those are the people Trump will surround himself with if elected.

Funny thing is, this notion that the Constitution is a perfect and unchangeable document is relatively new. The framers intended for it to be changed with the times. It's the modern day (primarily) conservatives who've instilled this idea that it's sacred.

So essentially you think 60 million Americans are racists?  Or that every member of Trump's past cabinet is a racist?  Has Joe Biden ever said anything racist?
