Thought you would avoid the question.

You have repeatedly defended murders and terrorists on this site forever in disguise as a bleeding heart liberal. Sounds more like antisemitism than anything else, hey?

At least you don't deny it. So, some internet points for you there.

As for me, I've repeatedly called Hamas terrorists. So not exactly sure what you're referring to.

Classic tactic of calling someone an anti-semite to try and shut down discourse though. More internet points awarded.

As I've stated before, Israel could bury Hamas right in their sandbox, if Blinken and da BOTUS would get out of their way.

Yes, you've stated this dopey and totally evidence-free opinion numerous times.

It's as valuable to this discussion as "Crean sucks" is to any serious basketball discussion.

I see you have a tenuous understand of what liberal means.

Man, if this is true, what a bunch of nonsense. Seriously some of the things these "elite" schools do truly show that they haven't achieved that status due to how well they've been administered.

UVA admin told students that camping tents on grounds violated policy. Then, they found out that camping tents on the grounds didn't violate policy. So, they changed the policy at 11:13am and had police enter grounds to enforce the new policy by noon.

I'll bet you Israel still invades Rafah anyway.  They don't really want a ceasefire.  Never have.

You might be right, Hards, and I mean that sincerely. Bibi and his crew have been dishonest and half-cocked, and it's why so many Israelis, including my brother and sister-in-law, have lost trust in him as a leader. So what you say here certainly could be true.

Then again, Hamas desperately wants a ceasefire. They don't want to return hostages. They don't want to pay the price for their terrorist actions on Oct. 7 - and every other day of the calendar. They feel no remorse for what they did, and they'd gladly do it again. They don't even care about Palestinians, and they obviously still want to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. And they don't want to negotiate in good faith.

But yes, they would love more than a ceasefire. When one side - which most of the civilized world considers a terrorist organization - wants a ceasefire so it can reload and prepare for their next terrorist act, it makes a mockery of the whole idea of a ceasefire.

This is why this thing is a quagmire, with few - if any - good answers. And it's been that way in the region for generations.

Is agreeing to a ceasefire to address the below going to help negate the further growth and recruitment of radicalized people? Probably! But as you said, Bibi doesn't have much interest in that.

They've paid the price, and tens of thousands of innocents have as well.  The hostages that Hamas took months ago, are most likely dead.  They'd give them back in a heartbeat if they could, but they can't.

All wars eventually end in peace.  There is no 'winning' for either side without a cessation of the horrific violence.

We'll disagree on Hamas having paid the price. I am sad about the innocents on both sides that have died or been injured. Aren't you?

They've been "interim suspended". What this means is that they have not been found responsible for violating any rules yet, but the allegations are serious enough that the organization is suspended from any activity until either the investigation clears them or they are found responsible and serve whatever sanction they are assigned.

Right. And therefore view our intervention in Iraq and Afghanistan with a very different mindset.
