Here's the Kolek pass that produces clear discomfort and - soon after - leads to his exit from the game for good.

https://youtu.be/Cb_ACCRdW7M?feature=shared

Looks like the actual injury came on a pass with about 16-17 minutes left.  He checked back in for 40 seconds, and this was his response to his first pass.  That isn't a good reaction at all to trying to play through it.  Seems like more to it than just, "We're up 30, I'll take it easy."

Some guy on Twitter claiming Kolek is out 4 weeks because he knows a student manager, so I fully expect him playing on Saturday 😅.

If that has any bit of truth to it though, he may be done for the year because 4 weeks from today is the start of the Sweet 16 and it would be tough to survive the 1st weekend without him.

He won't play again until the second weekend of the tournament.  Definitely out the rest of the Big East season and tournament

It's believed he first felt something on a baseline cross-court pass to Kam earlier in the half.  The subsequent pass to Oso led to a much more pronounced wince than the drive and dish to Jones.

I saw him pass out at 31 Flavors Tuesday night and grab his side. He may have entered the game with the injury. I guess it's pretty serious.

On a positive note, Tyler's status as a legend was solidified when his eye gash made Art But Make It Sports last night.

This is certainly a blue check mark.

He wasn't dressed for practice.  Was getting treatment the entire time.  Kam was running a lot of set plays from the point

You may be totally right. You may be totally wrong...but whatever the diagnosis is, I find it hard to believe TK would sit out of the NCAA Tournament.

His legs are healthy, his arms are healthy, and you know hes gonna wanna play.

I guess we will see!

This pass in the video was around 12:40 remaining.....
At 16:04 is the twisting pass to Kam in the corner when TK grabs his side for the first time...
TK can be seen around 15:25 holding his side several times during a dead ball.

I don't expect anything but vague answers until at least the Creighton game. Even then I'm sure he's game to game.

I can only speak for myself, but I sincerely hope that TK is able to write his own MU legacy over the upcoming weeks. What he has done for the program is beyond belief, imo. To be honest, while I would be disappointed as a fan if he was unable to play for a month, I would be far more disappointed for TK. This kid has made MU basketball become the place to be for other players and his legacy is cast in stone to me.

I mean I hope I'm 100% wrong. But it's what I've heard.

I'm not denying that or saying what you heard is wrong.

I'm just saying...if he is indeed out for a bit, once we get to the NCAA Tournament I find it hard to believe he'd sit out.

It's depressing to think that Kolek might be joining Travis Diener and Dominic James as MU legends who won't be able to play on their Senior Days.

If this ends up being the case, you wonder if the disappointment would be enough to bring him back for one more year.  Would be a really tough note to end on.

On Twitter, D. Bowels said Kolek is fully expected to play Saturday. He did have a few things right in the past, so who really knows what to believe.

Personally, all I want is Kolek to be healthy leading into the tourney. Would prefer if we stay with the 2 or 3 seed in the BET, but eyes are set on getting past the first round.
