You will rarely see a half of basketball that was totally dominated by Tyler Kolek, Marquis Howard had shooting games that were amazing, but Koleks drives and passes were outstanding, the two passes to Stevie Mitchell were passes of beauty!

There are players that are so good that after their last game you feel bad you won’t see them in an MU uniform again. And there are players that are so great, they still have time left but you are still sad that at some point in the future you won’t see them in an MU uniform again. I actively tell myself to enjoy this while it’s happening.

Correct.   I am a huge, huge, huge Stevie fan.  But size is so important in the NBA.  6'3 has to either shoot like Curry or have break down quickness and ball/passing skills.   OMax was a first round draft draft.pick because he can guard 5 positions.  Stevie can guard 2.

Will say something negative here about kolek....after already said he is SOTG.

First half like others he was sleepwalking a bit. Weak passes. Twice into Oso's legs. A weak behind the back that almost got stolen. Even a couple in the second half....though that was in total a half for the ages.

Perhaps what makes him inconsistent serves him as a great player. Not sure. Maybe we need Kolek as he is rather than a different kolek that's consistent and steady.

Just saying there was some other stuff to see.

It's got to be Tyler. And Stevie was amazing.

I assume others felt like I did, that Oso was not prominent, not notable. I just looked at the box score (https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/boxscore/_/gameId/401599525). 9 and 9. Nearly a double-double. Almost unseen. Another great example of how he contributes to and impacts the game without being a star.

He also shut down a premier big man in the conference for the second time this season. As in, made completely irrelevant. This is stating the obvious for any objective observer at this point, but Oso >>>>> Soriano.

Why a shoutout?  No, that’s stupid and lame for Joe Fan to engage in.  Kid played really well.  Not far from a triple double.

Which is important just in case TK can't serve his SoG role for any reason.
