IMO, TK is top ten villain of all time. He has the look and attitude that I would hate as an opposing fan, and he can flat out play. There have been plenty of guys that are easy not to like, but few that had TK's ability. I think to be an all timer, you better have game and TK has game.

Question, aside from TK who do you think has been a widely disliked guy by opposing fans from MU? I am sure Deiner bothered the hell out of people, but I am struggling to put together my list.

I agree with Markus and I get it to some extent. Maybe because MU fans, even anti Markus fans, knew he was a good guy it takes away some of the villain to me. I would likely not liked him if I were another BE team fan but would not have hated him. I would hate TK.

The Louisville Pleathernecks hated Wardle and then Crean. I would add Vander and Jae in your time frame. With a HM to DJO.

The Badger fans hated the Ellensons more than the Hausers but I think Wes was the most well-hated at the time. Maymon would have been an all timer for them.

I don't remember the road hate for Markus, just an awe. Same with JFB and McSteal.

I could see McIllvaine being disliked by others fans.  MU fans took a while to warm up to him. 

Badgers fans certainly hated Henry, but he certainly got the last laugh there.

The only player I can remember Al despising was Pistol Pete during the 1970 NIT. I mean he was apoplectic with all the headlines Pete was getting in the NY press and how unstoppable he was. Of course Al got his revenge by holding him to IIRC 20 points and Marquette scoring over 100 points; I believe for the first time under Al.

Stevie is an all-round great guy.   From on the court to the classroom to interviews he is all in.   Very very happy he is wearing the blue and gold for Marquette .

I remember Macura being pretty dirty. Kolek is also a much better player.
