Kolek Taunts

I was reading in the JS today that Kolek said he is taunted by the Nova student section about being illiterate and with a taunt of "where were you on Jan 6"?  Student section taunts can be ridiculous, but what is the origin of these taunts.  I asked a few of my buddies and we were clueless.  And PLEASE do not go down a political rabbit hole of Jan 6.

The not reading thing was because he wasn't on the graphic of players who earned a 3.0 or more.

The Jan 6 thing is probably just because he looks the part I guess.

A Providence fan sent out a Tweet awhile back saying something to the effect of "When I was in DC on January 6th I saw Tyler Kolek, we locked eyes and he ran away."

I think the joke flew over the heads of a lot of people.

Where was Tyler on Jan 6 could've been the next Big East Films documentary.

On 1/6/21, he logged 12 points in a home win v. VCU.  But George Mason is less than an hours drive from DC.

I literally can think of nothing dumber an opposing fan base could do than taunt TKO to get his energy flowing. You're a fan; that's the only way you could contribute to your team losing the game.
