Reminiscent of the home game against DePaul last year. Open up a huge lead and then get sloppy and stupid.

No bad call, but Jop being there was asking for it.

Eh a professional ref can't get that wrong. That's awful.

Jop anywhere near that guy for the half court three is just not good thinking.    Need to be tougher on D in half two and get the ball inside

Alright. We foul another 3 point shooter. Let's see if we can do it every game.
2x this game already

Yep - why is Jop anywhere near him?

Correct.  You don't allow the refs to make that call.

What is the NCAA record for consecutive games fouling on a three-pointer?

CountryRoads

Pretty piss poor level of focus this game. MU knows they will win but definitely just going through the motions here. For a team that's still trying to overcome some adversity, I expected a better effort.

At the game and looked away. Was there an actual foul?

It wasn't close to a foul but guarding a guy 70 feet from the basket with a second on the clock is absurd.  He put himself in position to get whistled.  Marquette hits its quota - a foul per game on a three point shooter.

You're fishing in a pretty deep pond there.

Loved the movement and shot selection. Had a tough stretch, but they were flying around the court, was bound to happen. Keep up the three point shooting and stop giving up open threes, win by 25.

19 point lead, oh well. DePaul terrible. But MU fouling DePaul players on put backs and getting to the line.

MU went almost five minutes without scoring. Missed five threes and four turnovers.

Relied too much on three ball during that, have taken 21 threes so far.  21....

Just give it to Oso, he needs the ball.  DePaul cannot keep up with him on drives and not even close.  Way too slow.

Good luck in second.

Anyone blaming jop here is telling on themselves as a basketball know nothing.

He did exactly what you're supposed to do in that situation. Run next to the player and don't reach in. A referee should never reward the shooter for Superman propeling himself into the defender.

A real boneheaded play. He is good for at least 1 or 2 a game.

I have no freaking idea, but we seem hell bent on breaking it. >:(

We couldnt be stopped when it was point oso. He either scored or dished for a open 3 every time.

Then we stopped and stopped scoring.

In the 90's I was at Fenway and watched Mo Vaughn go  0 - 4 for the Red Sox.  Then I watched a game on television and he was also 0 - 4.  This continued every time I watched.  If Mo Vaughn got a hit I was either out of the room or didn't watch the game.  It became a semi-obsession with me, and I began checking box scores to confirm against the games I watched.  He was 0 - 23 before I finally saw him get a hit.

I feel the same way watching Ben Gold shoot the three.  I have not seen him make a 3 pointer since the Kansas game.

I am not watching tonight so I assume he has 18 points on 6 - 7 shooting from behind the arc.

Lots of laughing and joking around. Likely won't cost 'em tonight, but...

Hes 0-1 and it was the same straight liner.

If Ben were a baseball player like in your analogy hed be a beast. Frozen ropes all over the place.

Half two ... move the ball well to best shot.  Score some in the paint.  Get in their grills of defense relentless D and o

DePaul went into a zone. We looked confused, made them look like Syracuse 15 years ago.
