Let's start Tre or Zaide tonight and go back to bringing Chase off the bench.   Let the frosh play minutes that matter.   Let Chase go back to being an energy generator off the bench.

Have you seen enough to realize these freshman are not very good right now,  Tre is a step slow, really playing the off guard, and Zaide can play some D, but has
shown nothing on the offensive end.  Add Al, and there will be tons of development on these 3 kids to play next year.  If Kam leaves, they better bring in 2 transfers
in the portal to play right away.  I do not see these kids making that big a jump.  Add the 3 sophs, who are just Ok, and you will need some new bodies. Also, everybody should stop thinking Ben will go pro ,I just hope he can play some, right now he is just a defensive liability, plays like a 3.  Frontline of Jop, Gold, and Chase or Mitchell,  pretty weak.  Add no point guard right now for next year, Jones is just a spot player due to his size, and MU is back in the pack in the Big East.  Last 2 recruiting years have been at best a C.  Maybe some will leave to open a spot or two,  needs to bring in better talent. New freshman have to play right away, and what is the word on Caedin after 4 months here?

I will say these are the two most tentative first year guards in Shaka's three seasons. I never give up on freshmen, rhough. Starting one in Stevie's place makes perfect sense to me.   Stevie's game is defense, moving the ball and cutting to the basket on offense.  Tre and Zaide are both capable of that.   And Chase gets to come in at the first media timeout and change the energy.   Think Erik Williams and Crowder.

Plus, it is Georgetown.  Try something, just to stir things up.

With Ross we know he got hurt badly enough to have to be helped off the court. So, I think it's reasonable to question whether he will be at full strength or out tonight.

I know you are not high on Ben Gold and I could not disagree more. He is 6-11 and caught three passes and never had dribble or adjust for the shot. He is going to be a very, very good player.

Ben is a much better player playing the 4 with Oso.  Best game of the year, game changed today because of him, he will never be a force at the 5. Took Chase's place because he was doing nothing, Sean Jones is just to small, great defender.  I just hope one of the other bigs can play center next year.
