The conference tournaments are providing a showcase for how many teams there are that are capable of knocking off teams that will be getting high seeds in the NCAA. And that includes many teams that won't even make the field, like some that MU has played in the last week.

Making it through the first weekend is not going to be easy for anyone. As a fan I'll be taking it one game at a time and savoring any victory, including one in the first round if MU is fortunate enough to get it.

The difference was that it was the Kent State player (Justin Rollins), not the coach, who made the decision to foul. Rollins didn't know the situation. The Akron player he fouled made the FTs, Kent State couldn't score at the buzzer, and Rollins was clearly devastated. They showed him on the bench and he was practically in tears, and he kept saying, "What the bleep was I doing?" I feel for anybody who will be remembered as a goat like that.
