They were concerned about the three so they put Edey on the inbounder. The thought was that preventing the three was paramount, but they also thought they didn’t have time to drive to the hole. And they almost didn’t.

Thanks, that makes sense on that play. But madtown AL said Edey was "refusing to cover the rim all game."

Temple up 2 with 10:30 left against FAU in AAC semifinals.  FAU loss opens the door for a bid thief.

Iowa State up 14 on Houston

New Mexico up 2 on SDSU with 15 minutes left.  We’re up as much as 14 early

Going into the week, Purdue, Tennessee, Houston and UConn were the #1 seeds. The first 2 have already lost, Houston’s down by 20, and UConn is in a close one at halftime with a depleted Marquette team.

It’s gonna be another wide-open NCAAT. Nobody’s close to unbeatable. Marquette might as well win the damn thing!

Eh.  I think 3 of those can win it and it wouldn’t be much a surprise

The conference tournaments are providing a showcase for how many teams there are that are capable of knocking off teams that will be getting high seeds in the NCAA. And that includes many teams that won’t even make the field, like some that MU has played in the last week.

Making it through the first weekend is not going to be easy for anyone. As a fan I’ll be taking it one game at a time and savoring any victory, including one in the first round if MU is fortunate enough to get it.

Yep. It won't affect my appreciation of the Big East to see that team of hacks get shut out.

No way that NC State's DJ Burns is only 275.  Taller than and wider than Gardner.

MAC Championship is off the rails with 4.8 left.  8-seed Kent State took a 1-point lead with 6.7 left and they fouled as Akron was bringing the ball up the court

The difference was that it was the Kent State player (Justin Rollins), not the coach, who made the decision to foul. Rollins didn't know the situation. The Akron player he fouled made the FTs, Kent State couldn't score at the buzzer, and Rollins was clearly devastated. They showed him on the bench and he was practically in tears, and he kept saying, "What the bleep was I doing?" I feel for anybody who will be remembered as a goat like that.

The listed weights of Burns and Lampkin are significantly lighter than the truth.
