Is Bucky still at in line for a 1 or 2 seed?  👀🙄

NIT maybe. Obviously they aren't in danger of missing the tourney yet, but they are racking up some very bad losses.

3 of their next 4 are unfortunately against sht teams and Maryland isn't exactly a juggernaut.

It will be interesting to see if Izzo hangs it up after this year.  Lots of rumblings it may happen.

Marquette is the only other school Tre Holloman took an official visit to, our staff loved him and we could use a veteran backup PG option for the next couple of years...

Good call. Exactly the type of player I think we’d be able to get in the portal.

I may be wrong but I thought Holloman was our top PG priority that class too and then moved onto Sean Jones after Holloman committed to Mich St.

If we bring in a transfer I can see Shaka going after someone like this who the staff already has a relationship with.

Honest question. If the Badgers didn’t beat MU, do they have a tournament resume as of today? I don’t see it personally, but I don’t research as much as some on this board.

Others study it much more than I do. I think they would. You don't get above a 4 seed just on one win. I think up until their skid, they racked up enough wins to justify a spot without the MU win.

I think if this keeps up, that win will be doing a lot of heavy lifting as they get compared against other bubble teams. It didn't save them last year.

There is no way I could be an Illinois fan and watch coleman hawkins every game

His whining every single game every single call or no call is pathetic. He just sat and slammed the floor like a baby as MSU ran down and hit a transition 3 to cut the lead to 3.

Its every single play with this guy

Will Mich St. storm the floor if they win this game?

Won't disagree but Im watching the same game and wish Oso had as confident stroke from 3 as that guy.. but yeah, Hawkins needs Oso's paint game.

Yes, and it wouldn’t be close. They have 5 other Quad 1 wins and a very strong SOS and metrics.

The resumes of teams that are near the bubble are typically pretty weak.

Kentucky might be the worst defensive team in all of basketball

Gonzaga has 42 on them at half and they are 3/14 from 3 with like 7 wide open misses

They play defense like people who don't watch NBA think they play defense in the NBA.

So much for Wisky having a clear path to the B18 title.
That's a shame

Callipari still going with the freshman heavy model and it shows on the defensive end.

Would love to get Indy. Bucky and Illinois both took losses today to help the cause.
