That Purdue is not good.   As bad a serious basketball take as has been posted on scoop.

lol agree - Purdue has been one of the best if not the best team in the country the last two seasons. That’s not some fluke because they have a really tall guy.

I’ll get over it, but I admit I’m slightly sad to walk past the sports-themed gift shop at MKE and see a Madison section but not a single Marquette item.

Badgers = Bad Loss
I rewatched our game vs RED last night after the ND game. I agree with your assessment.

Completely agree - Storr gives Bucky a dimension they normally don’t have, but otherwise there are a slightly above average team at best.  It was not a good loss.

Its over a week later, with a top 20 win in between, and we're still debating the Wisconsin loss?  Good lord people...move on.

As long as all players had fun, it's all good.

Has there been a top 5 preseason team that didn't make the tournament?

Ty.  But this is more surprising in light of Izzo's career.

Izzo has plenty of slow starts.   Most of his teams take early losses and come on strong late.   This year I have yet to see a reason for optimism.
