Huge loss by the Americans with Lexi green side in two on 18.  Bad, bad loss.  Americans have given Europe 1 full point on 18.  Could easily be 5 1/2 to 1/2 point

So, they weren't ready for large, energetic crowds.   That is unfortunate.   As much as we all love golf in the British Isles, I would say the biggest lesson is to hold these events places where the weather is summer-like in September.    In the US, the trick is to play it somewhere warm, not in a hurricane zone, where it won't be overshadowed by football.
