as it appears as though edmonton has the bulk of the fires, i have not seen any evidence of the fires in SE wisconsin.  this morning is clear as ever.  i did not take notice of the sunset last night however.

the upper atmosphere weather/jet stream must be taking the smoke more east then south

waiting for the class actions to start up.  surprised there haven't been any commercials yet...if you have experienced_______ better call saul eyn'a?

I think a lot of the fires impacting the Atlantic seaboard are in eastern Canada.

Wisconsin had to deal with Canadian fires in Mid-May and a week ago.  We had air advisories this past weekend

As a Canadian American, can I be offended by this?

Would I be considered an American Canadian if I lived in Canada?

No, you'd be a liberal.   Wait. They're still here.

Finally found a use for all of those unused COVID masks.

But I am a Canadian American! My maternal grandfather was born in Ontario and "slipped" across the border in the 1910s.

Almost deported in the 1950s. It took a private bill sponsored by Rep. Alvin O'Konski, R-WI, to get him "naturalized".

Crazy hazy out the office window

When it happened in May, it was noticeable, but this is a different animal.  Idiot Canucks need to learn how to sweep their forests

Hopefully everyone kept their masks from COVID.

I've gotten pics from the Chi area that are insane.  I hope everyone living in Wisco and the Midwest are managing okay.

Golfing today was exactly like playing in a pea soup fog.  Frequently, my son and I would lose sight of the ball at about the 180 yard mark.   Par 3's that we would just aim where we remembered the center of the green to be.    Other times, we could see normal distances, but there was still a brown haze.

Same here.  I hope all in the Midwest manage OK.  Seriously, wear your N95.  I was hacking for a couple days after it blew out.

3-4 weeks ago when it was happening in the Northeast and the Scoop Midwesterners were saying "you're crying too much out east"............  I'm looking at the air quality index in Chicago & Milwaukee and as bad as the air quality is today, it was still even worse here for those 3 days.

maybe BLM can use some of their money to buy more masks for everyone in the inner cities...oh, wait, they spent it all on mansions, parties, drugs, "consulting" fees and surprisingly the money is drying up

Yes. You are the king of staying on topic. Just look at your Black Lives Matter rant in the forest fire topic.
