Two days after a Black teenager was shot and injured by an old White racist after the teenager knocked on the door of what he thought was a different house, a 20-year-old White woman was shot and killed by a old White dirtbag after she and some friends pulled their car into the driveway of what they thought was a different house.

Neither happened anywhere near Chicago.

Neither would have happened at all if not for America's gun culture. Shoot first, don't even bother asking questions later.

As an old(ish) White guy myself, it's embarrassing that those from our generation would shoot kids just because they can (and because they have easy access to weapons). But you're right ... it wasn't "essential."

What occurred in KC is tragic... Here's a situation where a home invasion was successful ... and in Chicago... this is just as tragic or even more due to three deaths and a ruined life.  maybe individuals wouldn't feel the need to arm themselves if these situations weren't so regular.  Simple Google search show this isn't rare.
