Probably a good chunk of every player that came through Marquette

So Chones got paid to come to Marquette but went pro because there was no food in the fridge? So the tear jerker story was just that a story. Nothing romantic about that.

Benefits aren’t just cash transactions.

If you truly believe the 70’s were some halcyon day of amateurism, you’re awfully naive.

It’s been mentioned here earlier, the biggest benefactor of breaking the rules was none other than John Wooden at UCLA.
Ramsey head thoroughly up his ass.

If Glow brought that show to the Varsity, please thank him from me too.  Loved it!
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

He did (I blanked out the signature, so not to out him).  The upper deck of the varsity I thought would collapse with how much it was rocking.

He also brought Jeff Lorber Fusion, who has some scrawny little sax player named Kenny something. Gee, I can't remember the guy's full name.
