I don't remember which ref it was.  Was it the same guy who blew his whistle to stop play from half court when Joplin retrieved the ball touched by O-Max?

If so, that ref should be reprimanded.  Never should a ref unnecessarily stop play to become the focal point of the game.  He was wrong both times.

What a tool!  The Big East really should really do more to try to upgrade the referee pool.

  yes, he was the one who got into it with shaka, then to show shaka who the alpha ref was, he promptly(within 10 sec) whistled us for a touch foul to further aggravate shaka and the crowd.  in some fairness, he probably could have T'd shaka up, but the foul calling at the time was noticeably slanted

True. So do the other two on 94's list. I think they are good choices.

Too bad, because the vast majority of refs we see do very good work and don't think people are there to see them.
