Schedule for 2025-26

T.V. Diener 34

This season has been an absolute riot so far.  I've been to almost all of our home games and the only bummer about our schedule is that it seems almost all of our "big" conference home games fell during the middle of the week instead of weekends.  I thought about it and it made sense considering we were projected to be a middle to bottom team in the conference.

When I look at a team like Creighton who was projected to win the conference, their Saturday/Sunday home games this year look as follows:

DePaul (Sunday)
Providence
Xavier
Villanova
UConn

Now that we have won the conference regular season and hopefully should be returning all of our team, do we think that we have a similar schedule next year where all of our "big" conference games should be more favorable to us in terms of crowds?  If so, I feel like we will see all of our weekend games close to a sellout no matter if it's beginning or end of the conference season.

I like the way you think, Problem is sharing the facility with the Bucks.

We still finished this year with the same number of "Weekend Games" though.  Creighton's fell on a Sunday and ours fell on a Friday night with both having equal number of Saturday home games.  I'm just thinking we see better opponents now for our conference schedule on those home games, which will be great for attendance/atmosphere during our biggest games next year.

Creighton (Friday)
Georgetown (Saturday)
Butler (Saturday)
DePaul (Saturday)
St Johns (Saturday)

Because MU will presumably be one the top rated teams in the conference going into next season Fox will probably want them for some of those weekend games that air on Fox and not on FS1.

This. I'm guessing we see less CBSSN games too.
