The Sultan

He'll be booed whenever they play A&M. No one else really cares.

Which is why coaches do this. There is no blowback for them.

Gut feeling, he will have a "family emergency" when Texas plays at A&M next year.

He'll face no real repercussions or consequences for his douchebaggery, but its just the latest example of how so many college coaches preach loyalty, loyalty, loyalty to their athletes even as they are loyal only to themselves.

It's also an example of why lots of us here say "good for them!" when talking about college athletes winning true freedom of movement. Coaches have had it forever, and it hasn't "ruined" college sports.

Oh, and here's an "Eff You" in advance for the next hypocrite coach who whines about the transfer portal, about transfers no longer having to sit out a season or about NIL.

I don't think it'll impede his ability to coach and possibly win at Texas. I do think it will be a stain on his reputation. The fact I can mention Gary Barnett nearly 30 years after the fact and everybody knows exactly what I'm talking about proves that. Heck, when Saban retired, people wrote about the way he left the Dolphins.
If Schlossnagle doesn't mind that - and it doesn't seem like he does - no big deal.  But he'll always be remembered for this.

The lying sack of sh!t began that lie-filled diatribe by calling the reporter "selfish" for asking the question that had been on everyone's mind.

That was the worst part. If you don't want to answer the question -- or even if you want to lie -- that's your decision. But why crap on the reporter for doing his job?
Never wrestle with a pig.  You both get dirty, and the pig likes it.

Speaks to his character. Seems to be a recurring theme for coaches Texas hires away from in state rivals.
